Investec Wealth & Investment (IW&I) UK has appointed a new chief executive to replace Jonathan Wragg, who is stepping down from the position, Wealth Manager can reveal. Former chief operating officer of the wider Investec group Ciaran Whelan (pictured main) will take on the mantle, subject to regulatory approval. Webb4 apr. 2024 · On completion of the deal, Investec Group will own 41.25% of the enlarged Rathbones Group, with Investec Group’s voting rights limited to 29.9%. Investec W&I’s anticipated CEO Iain Hooley says: “As a combined business, we will have true scale, an enhanced client proposition, and complementary multi-channel distribution capability.”
