Fortunately, the post-surgery biopsy of my thyroid showed no cancer, and no further treatments were needed -- other than tweaking my levothyroxine dose (started on 125mcg, then 112mcg, & now at 100mcg). WebI’m on thyroid meds since the thyroidectomy and I‘m doing fine. If your TSH is high they'll likely start you on a low dose of Levothyroxine and check your bloodwork again a few months later.
