WebSep 29, 2005 · Same here, this motor has definitely been rebuilt, and the heads changed for some reason. The spark plug is at like a 45 degree angle, around a nub, and pointed directly at the exhaust valve. It's like the spark is hidden from the intake valve. Someone must have cracked a head or something and changed before I got the motor.

I think the E6 probably has a 69cc combustion chamber. if so and you slap those on a early/mid-70s 302 that had ~8:1 or. 8.5:1 compression with a 58-60cc head you're gonna be well. below 7:1 compression.

None of the stock cast iron sb Ford head flow worth a crap, unless you want to throw in the P heads and they are are mediocre. Just because Ford had smog in 1966 not 68 doesn't mean his heads have the smog bumps in the ports.

You can't put bigger valves in....chamber shrouding is already a problem with the 1.78/1.45. 1.84's will almost touch the chamber wall and/or the dip in the heart.
