WebJan 21, 2024 · CPU Temp high after recent updates. There's been plenty of threads about the CPU temps for Ryzen 7 / 2nd gen processors where they run at 40-50 degrees at idle. My situation is different as is more about a CPU temp change. Since installing the CPU two months ago, my temps have been 40-50 degrees as commonly found. WebI'm seeing a max of 70c (OCCT hottest test) with my 5900x, 1080ti in a Lian Li Lancool 2 Mesh. I've got lots of fans and high -wind- speed out the back of the case. My chipset fan doesn't run, and reports an idle and load temp of 50c. Mobo runs 30 idle, 32 under test. The air coming out of the NH-D15 is just hand-warm, not blood temp. The chipset have two temperatures, and withe the fan at maximun one temperature is about 50º in Idle and 95 with prime95. With Aida the temp. goes up to 103º I think is very high.
